WOOSTER - There is nothing fancy or flashy about the TechniGraphicS building just outside Wooster, Ohio.

Very few people in town have any clue that one of the hottest high tech companies in Ohio is located on Noble Road right next to a corn field.

Since they formed their company at the family kitchen table in Wooster 15 years ago, Dee Vaidya and his wife Mary have become superstar entrepreneurs in Ohio.

"My vision was always to build a billion dollar a year company," said Dee, "but I must admit that we accidentally fell into this digital mapping business. After that things really took off for us." 

With clients ranging from the super secret defense department projects to private corporations looking for 3D product details, TechniGraphicS has morphed into a global corporation. Dee and Mary insist that keeping the company headquarters in Wooster has lots of advantages.

"We kind of joke with our friends in big cities because our traffic jam is getting behind an Amish buggy. It's great to live here. The quality of life is high and the cost of living is so much lower than the big urban areas," said Dee.
